Hello, friends of Friendly Fire! This is the inaugural publishing of our first monthly newsletter. This is a quick summary of what is to come this month and what has already transpired. First, I would like to thank all of those who attended any of our weekend tournaments or weeknight events thus far. Within the past few months we have had a good show of support for our tournaments, and we plan to bring you more exciting and competitive events within the next few months. We have two tournaments planned for you this month, on Saturday, May 16th we bring you: Worms Armageddon! The entry fee will only be $5 and you will have a chance to win a free day pass and more. The tournament will begin at 3 pm and will be played on the computers, 1v1, 4 worms to a team. Then! On Saturday and Sunday, May 30th-31st, we will be holding a Super Smash Bros. Extravaganza, nicknamed Frumpy Shrubbery (don't ask), run by Spawn! On Saturday, May 30th, we will be opening our doors early to allow early registration and setup for the event, registration will run from 11 am to 1 pm, the tournament will be a doubles Melee tourney followed by singles. Then, on Sunday, May 31st, we will be hosting the N64 and Brawl+ tournaments, again registration will begin at 11 am and close at 1 pm. 		This month we also introduce to you two new promotions: our Game Days and Game Nights. So here is how these break down, Game Days happen on certain weekends when we are not planning a tournament. A game will be chosen, and this will be the “featured game” for the day. You can pay just $10 and you can play that particular game, for free, the entire day!!! Our first Game Day will be Saturday May 23rd, and the game being featured will be Call of Duty 4. Game Nights - Every Thursday we will be holding a Game Night from now on, on Game Nights, you can play from 5 pm ( no exceptions ) until close for just $10, there is no restriction on games being played although we will still have a “featured game” for the night, which most people here will be playing. This Thursday, May 14th, we will be featuring Defense of the Ancients, next week will be Halo 3, then May 29th will be Defense of the Ancients again ( we love our DotA ). For our Magic players! We have got a slew of Friday Night Magic Tournaments to go through. This Friday, May 15th, we will be holding an Alara Reborn booster draft ( thats three Alara Reborn booster packs ), then May 22nd, we will be holding a Type 2 Double Headed Dragon tournament, then to finish off the month we will be holding a Shards Block booster draft ( thats one pack of each of the sets in the Shards of Alara block). Well, I think that caps the Month. Next month we will be looking at new Summer promotions, and our first Lock-Ins ( all nighters ). Until then; Good Luck, Have Fun!
